Germany

Germany is quite a bureaucratic country which extends to the way the job application process works. You may be required to provide more than the traditional CV (curriculum vitae/résumé) and cover letter common to many countries.

A German CV does not look that very much different to the résumé seen in other countries, although they do include details like date of birth, and marital status, and employers usually expect to see a photo. Although opinions vary as to whether a CV should be submitted in English to a  German company, if speaking German is a pre-requisite for the role, for example, then it would make sense to submit your CV in German.
