Project Manager - Consumer Health (12 month contract)

Job Description


The primary responsibilities of this role, Project Manager – Consumer Health, are to:


  • Assess project requests with initiators and provides technical, cost, timeline and customer service implications
  • Organize project teams utilizing cross-functional resources for assigned projects. Obtains agreement from line management on team resource, expectations and performance for team members
  • Generate and communicate detailed project plans and timelines based on project objectives, success criteria, scope and deliverables ensuring cross-functional and third-party input is captured and projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Lead multi-site, cross-functional teams, tracking progress against the project plan. Identifies risks and contingencies and communicates progress to stakeholders
  • Manage project team meetings, prepares agendas, assigns action items and issues minutes
  • Communicate up-front objectives, prioritizes projects, and identifies technical, logistical, and supply chain requirements
  • Lead the development and approval of production artwork and pre- press for printed packaging materials. Also a functional approver of packaging artwork
  • Identify root causes and corrective actions for project deviations, including facilitating problem resolution
  • Support Marketing with the development and approval of business cases by the Project Board


Specialist Experience

  • University degree in Science or business, or MBA
  • Min 5 years experience managing projects in OTC or CPG
  • Broad business experience in packaged goods/OTC/Healthcare industry with an understanding of packaging development/design, supply chain/operations, product development and marketing
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership/facilitation, decision-making, process management, analytical skills, negotiating and conflict-management skills, risk management, and written and oral communication
  • Experience in electronic digital asset management and document workflow tools
  • PMP certification or Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
