Job Description

The Commercial Lead for Cell and Gene Therapies, Korea is responsible for the development, adaptation, and implementation of marketing, sales and site onboarding strategy for CTL019 in Korea and as a result, delivering the overall business objectives. To achieve that, the Commercial Lead drives key disease area initiatives in launch excellence, site onboarding, site engagement, and innovative customer-centric solutions according to the best-in-class customer-facing model.

Commercial lead development and execution of CTL019 marketing strategy and tactics in the country • Works closely with cross-functional to uncover insights and develop and implement marketing strategy and tactics to deliver business objectives, including creation of local IDAPS/SP/Tactical plans • Lead and coordinate pre-launch/launch plan development and execution of activities •Ensure alignment of marketing plan with global/regional strategy where appropriate • Identify risks and opportunities, provide a clear and well-communicated business vision to address them and drive strategy and tactics • Support the implementation of innovative marketing tools (e.g. Patient Travel Assistance Program) • Guide effective use of resources according to commercial priorities in the country through budget processes and brand reviews • Consolidate and analyze performance data and provides critical inputs in the performance management process

2) CELL THERAPY NETWORK MANAGEMENT: Develops account planning and tactical implementation for assigned CTL019 sites to create access, partnership opportunities, educational activities to all stakeholders in hospital, communication of CTL019 value • Meets with the hospital leadership to discuss CTL019 and execute contract negotiations (if necessary) in coordination with local market access team • Build key business relationships at all levels within CTL019 sites and with key influencers/decision-makers to ensure CTL019 access for patients • Presents approved economics data to relevant hospital stakeholders (if necessary) by coordinating with local market access team – subject to local approval • Work with hospital staff to ensure the CTL019 delivery is as effective and efficient as possible
Conducts efficient and effective onboarding of key treatment centers by coordinating with regional teams and medical, market access, apheresis managers • Drive creation and implementation of the onboarding plan through the cross functional NVS and hospital onboarding teams • Support key onboarding content and events at centers, ensuring country deployment alignment of the onboarding model • Ensure continuous training program updates and onboarding training best practice sharing • Identify key customer needs for being ready for a safe and effective administration of CTL019 to appropriate patients

Specialist Experience

• University degree in bioscience, medicine, business, and/or economics, MBA is preferred.
• English – fluent, Korean – fluent
• Experience (>3 yrs) in one of the following areas 1) Key account management 2) Reimbursement management 3) medical device key sales/account management, 4) sales management experience, 5) Medical or MSL manager experience
• Extensive (> 5 years) of operational experience with the emphasis on product/brand management, ideally across a variety of different therapy areas as well as sales experience within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
• Proven track record of working cross-functionally (medical, finance, sales, health economics, marketing access) • Strong strategic mindset and in-depth knowledge of customer/marketplace, key dynamics, and current knowledge of key competitors and their likely strategy.
