Overview of the opportunity:
KPMG’s Operations Practice helps clients to address their most pressing concerns including continuously streamlining operations to unlock value, deliver bottom-line improvements and enhance quality and service levels.

Our Operations Advisory practice are seeking a dynamic Senior Consultant to strengthen our Operations service line. The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of client projects and will contribute to our growth primarily with clients in the Toronto market.
 
 
What you will do:
As a Senior Consultant in our Operations practice you’ll be learning from some of the best in the industry and growing your personal skillset by:

  • Providing expertise and knowledge for the full spectrum of client-related business activities and projects including: mortgage transformation, corporate lending, operations digitization and pricing optimization
  • Working closely with clients, facilitate workshops and whiteboard to understand the business issues and underlying people, process, data and technology
  • Leading engagements and teams to successful outcomes with a focus on supporting your team, client needs and generating value
  • Building long-term business relationships with senior client personnel and executives through engagements and networking in professional organizations
  • Supporting client organizations in developing a culture of continuous improvement and in delivering tangible and sustainable results
  • Acting as a Change Agent to optimize quality, efficiency, cost and customer value.
  • Building credibility by delivering high quality results on time and proactively identify and resolve project issues.
  • Working with senior KPMG leaders to enhance and integrate service offerings across the Operations, Management Consulting and Advisory practices.

 

Specialist Experience

What you bring to the role:
You will have a university degree in a related discipline (Business, Management, Operations or MBA or equivalent form) and 3-5 years of consulting experience in a comparable capacity.  
 
You have demonstrated history and work experience in one or more of the following areas: Enterprise architecture and business analysis, Performance measurement and business intelligence, Project management, Change Management and communications, Organization design and organization development.
 
You have demonstrated experience in working with large datasets, able to draw insights from data, and have a data driven mindset. Experience with financial analysis and data modelling is desirable but not essential.
 
You have demonstrated ability to identify critical drivers of successful client service delivery and the ability to turn client aspirations and ideas into practical reality. You have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams, as demonstrated by strong internal or client references. You’re passionate about delivering high quality services and achieving client satisfaction.
 
You have a strong understanding of the interrelationships between people/organization, business processes and enabling technologies as contributors to business effectiveness. A professional designation (CA, CGA, CMA, PMP, CMC) is considered an asset, but not essential.
