AWS LCC Enablement Project Manager (Level 5)

Job Description

Amazon Web Services is continuing to pioneer in the Public Sector and is seeking a Project Manager within the Public Sector Enablement team to implement unique, scalable programs for the business. This role encompasses both designing project plans that will accelerate each initiative while also tactically implementing each project individually and/or alongside team members.

The successful candidate will combine a solid understanding of sales and marketing dynamics, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to synthesize vast information while making it usable amongst a global sales audience. This individual will be a key member of the global sales enablement team, examining existing business practices while identifying new initiatives that would result in time-savings and increased sales effectiveness. Examples of the projects that will be driven by this individual include deploying enablement resources for multiple verticals, managing internal knowledge management systems, and developing resources to consistently leverage internal tools. The successful candidate will be at the center of the team, will be comfortable driving results in an ambiguous environment, and will be part of the glue that helps our team operate efficiently, effectively and happily. This individual must have 3+ years of a combination of relevant experience serving sales/marketing and business development organizations and project management experience in addition to strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience within public sector and technology industries is highly preferred.

As a subject matter expert, you will be expected to build a broad and deep business knowledge of specific AWS services and its cloud business, in order to advise on sales challenges and training approach, ensuring consistency across the global organization.

Key Responsibilities
· Deliver on content initiatives, based on new launches, expansion plans, quality or internal improvements.
· Effectively manage several complex projects simultaneously, while maintaining a sense of urgency.
· Become a subject matter expert in business areas that drive change and evolution.
· Work with stakeholders in these areas to influence content deliverables.
· Drive content strategy for new projects in-line with key performance indicators
· Identify opportunities to improve content development processes in order to achieve scalability and meet global business requirements
· Evangelize content and translation/localization standards that reflect industry best practices and the voice of Amazon
· Use a combination of data analysis, user research, bench-marking, and content audits to identify high-impact opportunities for improvement across all sales areas
· Identify project roadblocks, research and present root-cause analysis, and manage resolution.


Specialist Experience

- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience managing efforts in developing data center focused projects of all sizes, from capacity driven refresh through to critical infrastructure upgrades
- Proven expertise in project initiation and scoping processes including scope development, requirements gathering, and cost/time/resource estimating
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects and teams, concurrently.
- Show good judgment and instincts in decision-making
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Products (Excel, Outlook and SharePoint)
- Strong analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel up to 30% - International travel


-MBA degree, ideally from a top international business school.
- 3 years' experience in people management in a high performance environment, preferably leading construction or project management teams
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, think big and influence across all levels of an organization.
- Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability in managing teams, project execution and delivery
- Experience in managing contracts, budgets, and project production
- Ability to identify and develop data sets to deliver system and process improvements
- High EQ, maturity, and good judgment.
- PMP Certification
- Detail-oriented
