Access Manager - Bogotá


Purpose Statement

Partner with corporate, regional and/or country sales strategies to plan, schedule and execute innovative business models and services to provide market access to patients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop working relationships with the economic buyer in their country/ regions key accounts facilitating contract negotiations involving market access programs within the region (diagnosed but not treated).
  • Maintain contact with major accounts and key decision makers seeking to leverage  profitable market access strategies.
  • Lead the implementation of Regional Innovative strategies for market access at the local level.
  • Participates of quarterly sales reviews with Local Sales team and Regional Innovation and Market Access team, adjusts strategies in accordance with Country requirements.
  • Assist key customers in the creation, maintenance, expansion and startup of market access related educational courses and forums.
  • Maintain knowledge of the industry, health ecosystem, and potential opportunities and barriers to challenge, modify, and prioritize regional strategies.
  • Monitor data from the region and prepares updates for marketing and the direct sales organization ensuring understanding of the health ecosystem.
  • Assess performance, prepare and distribute reports, and collect required documentation on patients, customers, regulatory agencies, etc.
  • Partners with support/marketing staff to execute market access projects.
  • Understand and clearly communicate financial/actuarial models to support innovative market access strategies in the Region.


Management Requirements

  • May lead a group or team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals.  Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive those practices throughout their organization.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • May direct and control the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups, projects/programs and/or operations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements).


Specialist Experience

  •  Bachelor´s degree with MBA or Master in Access.
  • Solid experience in Sales: minimum 7-8 years
  • Solid knowledge of Colombia´s health ecosystem, private and public policies and trends in health
  • Solid knowledge in Health Economics
  • Relationship with private and public professionals from the health sector, at all levels.
  • Participation in forums of the health sector, chambers, academic institutions and others related. 
  • Participation in the development of academic programs for health professionals.
  • Minimum 3-year experience in the health sector and in high-level positions with executive responsibility.
  • Experience in negotiation with customers and dialogue with Health Institutions.
  • Advanced Office management.
  • Fluent in English. (Bilingual)
