Senior Manager, HRBP

Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for the delivery of day-to-day human resources activities related to one or more of the specific financial areas in order to provide on-going support to the business



  • Plan and coordinate the daily human resources activities for the responsible business units / areas according to the company’s operating policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and assist in the annual human resources planning process according to guidelines and schedules
  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day human resources activities such as recruitment & selection, compensation & benefits administration, training, employee relations which are relevant to the responsible business area to ensure they are within operating policies and procedures and to recommend any cost-effective or efficient actions for sustained profitability
  • Work closely with managers on performance management issues and ensure compliance with legislative requirements and minimize grievances
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the annual business effectiveness survey
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective rewards and recognition programs in alignment with global and regional guidelines
  • Ensure managers are trained and demonstrate corporate adherence to harassment and discrimination policies
  • Provide and interpret human resources data to provide management information on turnover, headcount, compensation information, organizational statistics, etc.
  • Manage the successful delivery of human resources projects according to project schedule and budgets
  • Analyze and recommend appropriate human resources processes / activities considering the business implications, cost and consistency with current and future business directions


Organizational Management and Development

  • Ensure alignment of operating systems and processes that will enable the business unit to achieve the overall business objectives
  • Work across functional business units to support organizational initiatives and business needs
  • Promote inter-departmental and inter-divisional communications and teamwork


People Management

  • Utilize the Performance and Development Plan to communicate and assess performance objectives, competency lists and development plans for direct reports
  • Ensure effective performance management system is implemented and aligned with regional directions in order to recognize desired performance for business advantage
  • Establish high standards of performance and hold associates firmly accountable for meeting those standards
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of training plans to ensure that associates are able to grow and demonstrate mastery of required competencies in their jobs and deliver desired performance levels
  • Provide support, recognition and feedback to assist associates towards achieving the desired performance expectations and standards
  • Act as coach, guide and mentor to employees
  • Ensure that associates are aware of the nature of their specific roles in relationship to the local market, the sub-region and overall regional operation
  • Establish a strong team environment focused on exceeding internal and external client requirements
  • Conduct consistent periodic coaching "work with-s" to observe team members with clients and provide feedback
  • Contribute to driving world class employee satisfaction through the implementation of relevant organizational initiatives that build on employee commitment
  • Address professional development goals and needs of direct reports
  • Ensure proper dissemination of information and implementation of company rules and regulations as well as policies and procedures


Specialist Experience


  • University degree in Human Resources Management (MBA desirable)
  • 6 to 9 years Human Resources working experience in multinational company environment
  • Familiar on local labor laws and practices, preferably has background in creating policies.
  • Effective communications skills
