Business Development & Planning Analyst

Job Description

We offer the opportunity to join our Finance Team in Tel Aviv. The selected candidate will work in a challenging, dynamic and international environment, and will support the Business Development & Planning Function, reporting to the Manager Business Development & Planning, in the Finance Department. The position will closely work with the Management Team, the General Manager and all company functions. The main objectives include the identification & analysis of business development opportunities, as well as the responsibility to report the external competitive and market environment, and PM Israel’s performance. In addition, the candidate will support the formulation of PM Israel’s comprehensive strategic & business plans, in order to enhance the company’s performance and ensure long-term growth. Main responsibilities: •Quantifies business planning with economic models to evaluate new opportunities; presents findings clearly and makes recommendations for action •Assists with core business development activities, such as generating decks and communicating with key stakeholders to better understand business trends •Seeks out new market insights and business opportunities through research and analysis •Gathers and analyzes public data concerning the macro-economic, socio-demographic, as well as broad scoped business environment from multiple sources •Maintains industry related trade statistics based on public data (tobacco, manufactured cigarettes, other smoking products and potentially reduced risk products). •Completes business development projects in an accurate and timely manner

Specialist Experience

•Exceptional and outstanding command in Excel (including PIVOT, VLOOKUP, MACRO and VBA) and PowerPoint •Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization •Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English •MBA from a top university. Preferred – a leading international institution •Overall Experience: 3-5 years in top tier global companies, filling finance-related positions, including corporate development, management consulting, business development, investment banking, financial planning, etc. •Specific Experience: at least 3 years of prior Business Planning function - mandatory •Proven experience in handling multiple projects and driving initiatives through a complex organization •Fluent in both English and Hebrew languages; work is in English only
