Job Description

The Accos. Director provides leadership, direction and supervision for IT Service Desk and On Site Support for EU region. This role will also be the major interface between the region and global IT teams as it relates to implementation of global day-to-day IT services and initiatives.  The Assoc Director is also involved in financial and budget management; managing key projects within the functional areas that can include but are not limited to Employee Services and Basic Application Support; and guiding deployed staff in completing their tasks. The incumbent will share direct responsibility for overall IT Services results with peer IT leadership. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the delivery of entire set of Service (i.e. Remote Service Dest, On Site Support) delivered by Employee Services to the European region
  • Develop relationship with Key Stakeholders of Teva Customer Facing IT Teams and understand their needs, to create real business value by enabling new or changing existing IT services
  • Service delivery strategic planning and the development and execution of tactival plans necessary to achieve highly effective and reliable service delivery results. Partnering with service delivery area of other IT Services functions where it exists and is applicable
  • Accountable for identifying and executing opportunities to improve IT service, creating a team and culture that drives continuous improvement across Europe and proactively identifies opportunities for service uplift and cost reduction
  • Represent the European aspect of budgeting into the overall budget process. Manage the European portion of the budget related to regional only activities
  • Act as point of contact for several IT Telecom services with strong links to European region
  • Manage vendors and contacts associated with incumbent direct responsabilities
  • Drive the proper establishment of prioritized global portfolio of initiatives
  • Working closely with IT Commercial and IT TGO LG team
  • Work closely with Global Finance team to run and maintain the financial components of Annual Planning process
  • Act as escalation point for any IT Service Desk or OSS related issue
  • Travel Requirements: Approximately 15% across EU and international travel


Specialist Experience

Position requirements
  • BS in Computer Science or related discipline
  • MS/MBA is a plus
  • 10+ years' experinece in a mid to large sized company leading components of a Service Desk organization
  • 5+ years' experience in vendor management
  • 5+ years' experience managing staff
  • Experience in running large scale operations and improvement programs and managing staff
  • ITIL Certification
  • 24 x 7 System operations
  • IT Processes including Service Desk Integration and Incident/Problem management and Escalation
  • GxP System implementation and Support
  • FDA Validation and Qualification experience
