Job Description

 

A new opportunity has arisen in our European HQ in Amsterdam. Currently, we are looking for an Associate Director, Strategic Projects and Alliances. You, together with EVP Commercial Europe, EVP Commercial International Markets, Country GMs & CFOs, will be enabling Teva’s strategy through measurable value creation across regions. You will be focused on delivering various critical projects & initiatives driving either organic growth or cross functional efficiencies. Moreover, you will be a key and true commercial partner to various business functions such as Teva Global Operations, Supply Chain, Portfolio, Finance & Marketing etc.

                                              

Your key responsibilities:

  • Identifies key tactical actions plans from long range & annual operating plans & coordinate their implementation  through  consolidated roadmaps, effective governance structure and reporting
  • Drive identification & governance of regional cost efficiency initiatives
  • Evaluates, recommends and support implementation of organic growth initiatives driving mid to long term revenue growth
  • Serves as commercial partner for cross functional projects with global functions such as TGO, GMP etc.
  • Assume end to end responsibility for all initiatives with minimum guidance
  • Serves as thought leader for commercial revenue & cost optimization initiatives for peers & wider group of stakeholders

 

 

 

Specialist Experience

  • A Master’s degree in Life sciences/Pharmaceutical sciences or MBA preferred.
  • Previous commercial experience of a minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical leadership roles or 3-5 years (Associate Level) of experience in top tier management consulting (BCG, McKinsey) or consulting firms focused on pharmaceuticals (commercial aspects)
  • Excellent senior stakeholder (C-Level) management skills
  • Strong business acumen and value focused
  • Experience in developing and presenting appropriate strategies and solutions
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to handle complex analyses. Intermediate Finance/Controlling knowledge preferable
  • Team player, i.e. experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative and multicultural environment
  • Fluency in English. Fluency in European languages will be a plus
  • Willingness to travel abroad (approximately 40%)
  • Willingness to be based in Amsterdam
