Summary:

  • Develop PD therapy in assigned area
  • Manage, direct promotional and marketing activities of PD team in respective region
  • Plan, launch, implement and assess promotional and marketing programs of PD therapy in assigned areas of Vietnam in accordance with the strategies to achieve the company’s objectives.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities. 

  • To implement business strategies of PD therapy.
  • To collaborate with therapy marketing team and lead the assigned team to implement in order to achieve the company’s objectives
  • Meet business objectives of the zone by coaching and providing direction to team members. Effectively manage and supervise the team by working closely with each team member in the field, reviewing their performance on a periodic basis, coaching and providing developmental inputs
  • Monitor actual results against forecasts and participate in the determination of market potential for the territory. Establish strong relationship with key decision makers, KOLs, hospital leaders.
  • Build credibility & high trust with key accounts; ensure high levels of customer (doctors and nurses) satisfaction through the appropriate allocation of territories and monitoring staff’s activity reports and through strategic contact with key accounts, management boards of target hospitals.
  • Actively acquire market information concerning competitors, market situation and utilize, analyses the information to improve marketing efforts.
  • Proactively support seeking new business opportunities to secure market share.
  • Directly manage some territories if needed and increase awareness PD therapy for HCPs.
  • Manage budget by devising optimum account coverage plans, marketing initiatives and controlling expenses of team members.
  • With team to support distributors on tender management process and ensure key products are listed on hospital formulary list.
  • Uncompromising commitment to adhering to Baxter’s Code of Conduct, internal control, and monitor compliance by all product staffs of the team; promoting the Baxter Culture through positive, ongoing relationships and activities
  • Prepare monthly report in compliance with Baxter Rep office’s requirements.
  • Any project assigned by Business Unit Manager.
  • Ensure all business activities comply with Baxter’ business code of conduct, relevant Vietnam legal demands, and ethical standards

 

Specialist Experience

  • Manage ethical products in key hospitals at assigned city/provinces.
  • Tender management experience (for both drug & medical device) is an advantage
  • Strong at performance management, Business Planning & Execution, Customer relationship management.
  • Good leadership in influencing decision and outcome.
  • A self-starter, driven and able to work in a quick pace environment.
  • A good communicator, able to communicate at all levels.
  • Well plan and organization.
  • Competent in using English.
  • Competencies: Commercial acumen, analytical skills, directing others, result orientation

 

Education and/or Experience.

  • Pharmacist or Doctor University Degree, preferably a MBA,
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of healthcare sales experience, with at least 2-3-years experience as Area Sales Manager at multinational companies.
