Head of Strategy

Job Description

- Leading projects identified as top priorities of the China Oncology Business Unite, and ensuring their execution
- Maximizing the value of the Novartis portfolio by driving business development activities 
- Strong support GM on China growth project to ensure Oncology strategy executed.

Job Description:
- Work with the GM of Oncology China and leadership team to formulate the 5-year strategic direction and actions of the organization, including portfolio prioritization and tracking / follow-up 
- Lead or co-lead cross-functional / cross-GCR-GCPO projects that impact the growth trajectory of the Greater China organization. Projects have historically been in both strategic and operational areas such as organization design, change management, capability building, sales force expansion planning and execution, sales incentives design, and distribution management 
- Act as a project management resource for other functions (e.g., consult and give input on project direction)
- Support the GM in communicating within the Oncology China organization.

 

 

Specialist Experience

- University degree, preferably in scientific subjects (medicine, pharmacology, biology, etc.) Desirable Education: Advanced degree (PhD, Master’s, MBA) 
- Fluent English (written, spoken) , Fluent Mandarin desirable (written, spoken) 
- Significant project management experience in direct/indirect leadership role (Engagement Manager / Project Manager at major consulting company, or equivalent role in industry). 
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills are critical Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (sales/marketing, finance, project work) and with senior management is desir-able.
