Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and maintain an effective cost and expenses tracking and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with the necessary tools to establish goals and measure the business performance.
  • Routinely communicate business unit and company consolidated financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics. Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications.
  • Coordinate the capital spending (CAPEX) review process for the company.
  • Influence the accuracy and effectiveness of the corporate accounting consolidation and closing process helping to guarantee the right cost/expense recording and allocations.
  • Develop and execute processes to allow for routine analytical reviews of company financial and operational performance, leveraging business unit analytical resources and tools.
  • Lead the strategic aspects of the annual operating plan and budget process, and monthly forecast process for the company with focus on cost and expenses.
  • Partner with all functional areas to improve cost and expenses tracking as well as with accounting, treasury, tax as appropriate.


Specialist Experience

Qualifications and experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of finance and accounting experience with progressive responsibility, especially with exposure to international operations.
  • Cost& Expenses Senior Analyst should possess at the minimum a first degree. Areas of specialization should include Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration. Other Business related degrees may be acceptable (CPA - Big 4 experience, MBA preferred).
  • Significant experience in financial modeling, corporate reporting, business planning, with strong, professional communication and writing skills.
  • Hyperion, Oracle and SAP experience.
  • MS Excel and PowerPoint Expert User required.
  • Advanced English level (oral and written)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, US GAAP, IFRS and technical pronouncements.
