Position Summary

  • Reporting to the Rare Disease Sub-Cluster Business Unit Lead, the position lead on the marketing and commercial strategy for the full Rare Disease portfolio, which includes a mix of mature, growth and launch brands in endocrine diseases, haemophilia and neurology. It also includes leading on a major launch for Pfizer in a new rare cardiology indication, a key priority for Pfizer and an exciting prospect
  • Whilst the position has no direct reports, it involves significant cross-functional leadership in a matrixed structure, to drive
  • The role also has an important externally-facing element, as maintaining strong KOL relationships will be key



  • Develop & deliver cross-functional launch plan for rare cardiology indication
  • Develop & deliver cross-functional  brand plans for the whole portfolio
  • Lead on country operating plans and forecasting, including demand management
  • Build & Maintain strong KOL relationships
  • Work collaboratively with Health & Value to ensure favourable for all brands in the portfolio
  • Be an active member of the Rare Disease Sub-Cluster Commercial Leadership team, helping to shape strategies and execute effectively
  • Be a compliance role model, setting the example for 100% compliance throughout the cross-functional team
  • Engage with Global team to ensure appropriate implementation of global strategies and tactics in the Czech Republic
  • Engage fully with sales team to enable them to execute the brand strategy effectively, including creating materials and providing appropriate brand training

Specialist Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree; master degree or MBA desired
  • 5-10 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience
  • Experience working in Specialty Care, with Rare Disease experience a positive but not essential
  • Experience of launching new brands and of reimbursement processes a positive but not essential
