Job Description


Primary purpose of the position


Lead all market supply chain activities associated with Launches and change management in Russia & Eurasia cluster.

Ensure on-time and in full readiness for the launch, re-launches and line extension of new products

Ensure on time and flawless execution of change management and regulatory variations in cluster

Organize, standardize and put into efficient market cross-functional procedures related to the launches in all Russia & Eurasia countries


General duties and responsibilities


Central Point (regional) contact for all launches in Russia & Eurasia cluster.

  • Develops “best in class” SC process / systems which enable efficiency and excellence in launch execution (includes improving our portfolio through launch plans).
  • Ensures that the roles & responsibilities are clearly defined, understood and that the capability exists to fulfill the responsibilities
  • Provides key SC details – cost, timing, capacity to support decisions
  • Manages activities & communicates to keep launches on track


Work with the key stakeholders in the markets to prepare , maintain & coordinate the business scenarios and launch plan based on various inputs including:

  • Product information
  • Commercial strategy
  • Demand forecast
  • Regulatory and patent information
  • Suppliers and manufacturing sites


Oversee Russia & Eurasia cluster launch plans, while ensuring alignment with the site launch managers, and market launch management. The project management will be done for all projects planned in Russia & Eurasia for the horizon of 2 years prior to launch until 6 months post launch.


Structured transfer of planning and supply responsibility to market planning team to ensure continuous supply post launch


Ongoing assessment of markets launch readiness risks, contingency planning & execution, and initiate any relevant activity required during the launch phase, in order to maintain launch timeline.


Active Participation at Regional/Global meetings for Russia & Eurasia cluster launches reviews.


Standardize and control cluster and global reports  related to launches


Ensuring availability of critical launch elements on market level

  • Forecast scenarios and order placing
  • Timely approval of sales prices and transfer prices to launch products;
  • Preparation and sending  launch forecast to the plants
  • Monitoring of AW’s approval  process
  • Samples, standards, reagents, certification and customs processes
  • Valid supply, invoicing and release flows


Effectively manage the supply aspects planned and forced regulatory variations. Work to establish a structure process to map planned changes and build transition plan with market and site counterparts to mitigate risk of OOS





Specialist Experience



Higher education (University/Institute) in Industrial Engineering or other relevant fields as a must.

MBA – an advantage.

5+ years of experience in Supply Chain/Operations/Planning a must.

Strong leadership capabilities.

Experience in Healthcare / Pharmaceutical Industries a must.

Experience in a Multicultural, Metrix, Global environment a must.
