ITero Marketing Communications Specialist (Switzerland)

As Marketing Communications Specialist based out of our HQ in Switzerland (Canton of Zug) you will take ownership for this newly created position.You will play a key role in setting up e-marketing for our iTero scanner as well as other key marketing projects working with the Global team.



High growth opportunity for a marketing professional looking to leverage their expertise in digital marketing into a broader marketing communications role. This role reports to the Director of Global Marketing Communications within the Global iTero Marketing Organization. This position will provide support for a broad array of communications activities and functions in the iTero organization, including but not limited to writing, editing and publishing communications and developing materials intended for both internal and external audiences. This position will also assist in marketing communication activity within the Ortho and GP segments including new product, software and portfolio commercialization assets, press releases, digital assets, e-marketing deliverables, etc.


We are seeking a strong communicator, with excellent writing skills. This position requires solid project management skills and creativity. The specialist should be able to manage programs and deliverables in an exciting and fast-paced environment that often includes changing priorities, last minute requests, and nominal direction. The ideal team member must be organized and understand the shifting communications landscape, including trends, tools, communication channels, and influencers. She/he must be a self-starter with a track record of finding opportunities to share stories, collaborate with others, and improve processes and programs to help make us a better team and deliver better work.



  • Tactical execution of marketing programs / social media campaigns designed to generate new sales leads and sales acquisition.
  • Track, test, and analyze data relating to campaign metrics to improve and optimize programs by delivering reports to channel marketing partners and marketing management.
  • Track, measure and analyze impact of social media & e-marketing investment to optimize resource allocation and drive future tactics/strategy.
  • Support a strong metrics-based sales and marketing operations function; drive insights through research / analytics to enable and enrich discussions.
  • Assist the Director of Marketing Communications in the following activities:
    • Developing iTero brand strategy, messaging and positioning, digital assets, and creative/message briefs.
    • Managing the global iTero communications, press release and events calendar.
    • Assisting in vendor/agency management.
    • Assisting in managing content and strategy for www.iTero.comwebsite/platform and other global e-marketing sites/initiatives.
    • Drive brand awareness and support sales funnel to generate leads through marketing automation.



  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • MBA, related degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales or marketing operations experience required.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Digital marketing experience conducting advertising campaigns across web and social media using software (such as Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, or SalesForce Marketing Cloud) preferred.
  • Familiarity with using major social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) for measurable business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in using PowerPoint and Excel for sharing results and data summaries.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Effectively and efficiently work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility and versatility in a fast-paced environment, with a strong desire to grow as a marketing professional.
  • Strong project management skills; takes action and maintains ownership.
  • Willingness to travel ~10% of the time.
