The EY Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team combines all the experience and expertise available within EY in order to offer a complete range of value-added services and to advise on corporate transactions. For cross-border transactions, we deploy multinational teams from the international EY TAS network. The Luxembourg TAS team is comprised of professionals coming from various backgrounds and disciplines, such as corporate finance, private equity, banking industry and financial audit.
Our teams advise clients throughout the transaction cycle with a fully integrated transactions offering, from strategic review to integration. Through our independent position with respect to lenders, investors, and investment bankers, our team of professionals is ideally placed to successfully support corporate transactions.
Many of our projects involve international travel, and the integration of our EMEIA practice has made longer-term mobility a genuinely accessible option for those who wish to develop their career internationally.
In order to continue the expansion of our Luxembourg Transaction Advisory department, we are currently looking to recruit as of September, 2019:

Transaction Support Assistant (m/f)

Your responsibilities:
As an assistant within a rapidly growing team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of corporate finance and transaction - related assignments in an EMIEA - wide integrated TAS practice of one of the world's largest accounting and advisory firms. 
Your clients will include private equity funds, large and mid-market corporates. As well as founding entrepreneurs looking to expand their business through M&A or divest / exit their existing investments. You will be involved in performing financial due diligence on companies across multiple industries and geographies helping your clients to identify value drivers and potential risks as part of their pre-acquisition investment decision-making and transaction structuring process. 
You will be part of a Luxembourg-based diligence team working on different types of corporate finance projects (buy-side and sell-side due diligence, data room preparation, SPA review and bidder Q&A) primarily in different EU countries and North America. You will also have the opportunity to work  with other regional teams (France, UK, Germany etc.) to support their respective clients. 
You will help clients meet their strategic objectives through M&A advice and support in their respective clients. You will help clients meet their strategic objectives through M&A advice and support in their acquisition target search, target approach , due diligence coordination, valuation and deal negotiation) and disposals (sell - side lead advisory). 

Specialist Experience


  • You hold an MBA or Master degree with specialization Audit, Finance, Economics or Accountancy from a reputable school. 
  • You are fluent in English, French and/or German.
  • You are dedicated to continued professional development and will be willing to pursue ACCA, CFA or comparable qualification. 
  • You are ambitious, success-driven and eager to learn. 
  • You have a mental stamina and the mindset to work long hours and under pressure. 
  • You display the ability to communicate effectively and act as a team player.
