For the Italian production plant of Janssen (Borgo San Michele-Latina) we are looking for a Maintenance Manager.

The role will cover the following responsibilities:
• Guarantee that maintenance and calibration processes in the departments of packaging and manufacturing operations are in compliance and in full adherence to rules and procedures. In full respect of standards, guarantee the execution of planned maintenance and calibration orders to assure proper efficiency of production equipment.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance technicians with the objective of improving their professional expertise and guarantee a high level of service, always assuring personal direct involvement to solve special cases.
• Coordinate and supervise, directly or with the support of maintenance technicians, the work of external companies always assuring the execution of the tasks following technical requirements and safety rules.
• Develop KPI’s to monitor maintenance and calibration efficiency, department budget adherence and equipment performance level.
• Assure a continuous alignment with operations and planning, to define daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plans.
• Support the management of spare parts warehouse to guarantee an optimal level of storage, the availability of parts and the correct management of obsolescence.
• Guarantee that people, processes and performances are adequate performing periodical reviews and a continuous monitoring to identify in a fast mode systemic gaps and potential non-compliances.
• Guarantee that technical knowledge of himself/herself and of all the people in his/her area of responsibility is always up to date with appropriate and continuous technical training
• Assure the proper creation, application and update of the SOP’s aligned with Compliance and GMP rules.
• Guarantee that all the activities under his/her area of responsibility are always executed in compliance with the current EHSS standards and rules.
• Assure that all changes introduced to equipment or processes have been properly evaluated under the EHSS point of view
• Constantly guarantee the execution of cost reduction programs and the identification, proposal and execution of process improvements.

Specialist Experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in scientific field or at least 6-8 years of experience in maintenance activities;
• An MS, MBA or other advanced degree is preferred;
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Operations, Maintenance or Engineering is required.
• People Leadership experience is preferred;
• Ability to build strong working partnerships, trust and credibility at all levels;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and organization skills required;
• Fluency in English is required;
