Facebook is looking for the highest calibre executive leader to manage Facebook’s business operations in Denmark. The leader will spearhead the company’s strategic relationships with global brands, agencies, and partners for Facebook’s advertising platform as well as developing the business ecosystem around Facebook in Denmark. 

The candidate must have experience as a Country Director with demonstrated abilities to plan and mobilize large teams for improvements in operations. As well as a history of achieving high growth rates. The role manages a direct sales team along with cross-functional/matrixed teams, such as marketing, creative, communications, operations and G&A of the country. The role reports to the Managing Director of the Nordics and the location will be Copenhagen, Denmark. 

    Provide hands-on leadership for the country sales and cross functional teams.
    Define and drive Facebook Danish strategy to develop the overall customer value-proposition in the short, mid and long term and own overall business performance and ensure sustained high performance of team's operations and results
    Build and maintain C-level relationships with our clients, partners, as well as other media and advertising organizations.
    Provide timely and accurate forecast and clear visibility on revenue performance
    Ensure that our clients and partners receive the highest level of customer service that meet their needs, particularly focusing on delivering business results for them.
    Provide ongoing leadership to the country team by developing a vision and ensuring it's execution, while recruiting new members and continually raising the bar for talent and capabilities
    Establish strategic, financial, and operating targets in alignment with company's long term strategic plan
    Represent Denmark within the larger Facebook organization and explain the country’s product or other needs globally and share process efficiency, and transfer of knowledge cross the company
    Act as the country spokesperson for Facebook in Denmark across diverse range of strategic interests and matters

Specialist Experience

    15+ years relevant experience carrying a revenue or P&L responsibility in a high growth environment
    General management experience and significant divisional leadership is required
    Reputation as a thought leader running large complex businesses and already highly regarded as an executive in the country
    Must understand and have relevant experience in Denmark
    Broad experience outside Denmark is a plus
    Proven ability in leading high performance teams and delivering successful business results
    Personal network with C- Level executives across various industries such as FMCG, retail, financial services and telecommunications
    Passionate about diversity and its value to teams, culture, leadership and business
    Proven leadership, problem solving/decision making, and communications skills
    Experience of managing large global clients and their partners with the highest level of service.
    Fluent in Danish and English
    A high work ethic combined with a vision that will help achieve Facebook’s global mission
    MBA from top tier university
