Sr Account Manager - Advanced Solutions

Job Description

Improve business and family comfort, protection and productivity

Be responsible for the sales of HCP solutions in SSA region with focus being RSA and Nigeria.

 

Develop business plans and meet overall financial objectives by conducting sales presentations and customer consultations that maximize sales closure rates. 

 

1)      Sales activity

 

§   Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly & annual financial booking and gross margin targets.

§   Identify, qualify and pursue target job opportunities and maintain appropriate activity backlog.

§   Provide accurate planning and forecasting of sales activity.

§   Be an active member of the SSA sales team, supporting the HPS Account Managers to grow HCP business.

§   Provide market feedback on solutions, competitive data, market pricing, etc.. to the leadership team

 

 

2)      Customer relationships

Strengthen Honeywell’s relationship and position with new and existing accounts and improve the client relationship by:

 

§   Actively managing the relationships for all assigned accounts, including C-level

 

§   Networking with industry organizations and relevant communities

 

§   Establishing key contacts within multiple tiers of the customer organization

 

§   Regular communication with customer influencer and the Honeywell Sales team

3)      Effective Management of the Sales Cycle

Responsible for the effective management of the sales process from identifying and qualifying prospects to successfully closing the sale.

 

§   Developing sales leads through prospecting and lead generation activities

§   Preparation and delivery of effective, persuasive sales closing presentation with key customer decision makers

§   Coordinating estimation activities, ensuring costs are competitive

§   Qualifying sales opportunities to ensure expenditure of resources in a cost effective manner

§   Ensure successful handover of jobs/contracts to the operations team

 

 

 

Specialist Experience

§   BA/BS degree/diploma in business or engineering

 

§   An MBA would be a plus

§   5 to 8 years’ experience in companies with similar profile to Honeywell in terms of markets and solutions

§   Understanding of industry sectors covered by HCP and exposure to sales

Extensive TravellingCustomer Account ManagementBuild Relationships

§   DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPING AND EXECUTING SUCCESSFUL SOLUTIONS BASED CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS 

EXPECTED TRAVEL FREQUENCY OF 50% OF TIME ON AVERAGE

§   STRONG PRESENTATION AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS

§   ABILITY TO WORK IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT WITH LIMITED DIRECT SUPERVISION IN A MATRIX TEAM ENVIRONMENT

§   WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF HONEYWELL COMPETITORS WITHIN THE MARKET

CUSTOMER FOCUSED AND RESULTS DRIVEN, AND BE A SELF-STARTER
