Division Manager Pest Elimination Chile

Job Description

Job Summary: The Division Manager, Chile is responsible for development and execution of the Pest Elimination Chile growth strategies to ensure Ecolab’s products and service solutions meet unique needs of customers to achieve and maintain #1 in market share. This role will report to AVP Pest International Latin America and dotted line to LA South VP & Market Head. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Assume direct P&L responsibility for Chile. Responsible for Sales, Marketing, Technical Support and all commercial functions while collaborating with support functions such as Finance, HR and Supply Chain.
  • Drive profitable sales growth and market penetration to build Ecolab Pest to be the #1 brand in all market segments.
  • Champion of strong service execution culture and highly motivated & engaged team.
  • Ensure maximum sales and service coverage with resources available to achieve peak performance; utilizing metrics to measure success over time.
  • Ensure team achieves sales and service goals and objectives by meeting key performance metrics and following established processes and protocols.
  • Provide accurate forecasts, inventory control and production management.
  • Manage expenses within budget, maximizing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement specific short- and long-term strategic plans aligned with global divisional and local market strategies. Provide critical and strategic input to Division growth plans.
  • Lead market expansion activities such as market analysis, market entry strategies including acquisitions, commercial agreements & organic business development.  Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective companies.  Leadership role in due diligence and integration activities.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in establishing and coordinating marketing strategies. Ensure that globally relevant marketing programs are delivered to the market, including materials which can be customized by the relevant markets.
  • Participate in developing global strategic plans to ensure they incorporate relevant Chile Market needs.
  • Represent the Chile market and customers in the service program planning process, including the development of innovative as well as low cost/ high value solutions for the market.
  • Ensure effectiveness of our global matrix through strong collaboration and communication with geography leadership. Establish improved structures and processes; serve as a role model in demonstrating collaborative behaviors and a boundary-less mindset.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in establishing collaborative and effective cross divisional relationships to drive profitable growth and delivering total Ecolab value to our valued customers. Champion of Enterprise Selling strategy and execution.
  • Demonstrate talent management leadership, ensuring Ecolab recruits and develops the best talent, and we have strong leadership pipelines & succession planning at all levels.  Drives the talent acquisition, PP+D, talent planning process and improved team engagement.
  • Develop key relationships with the full set of important stakeholders such as key customers, industry associations, and government representatives to achieve business objectives, assess market needs, follow trends, and anticipate future developments.
  • Work within and actively promote Ecolab’s vision, purposes and values, corporate strategies, policies, procedures and Code of Conduct.
  • Establish and foster a strong safety culture throughout the market.
  • Demonstrate Ecolab 5 fundamental leadership behaviors of envision, empower, energize, execute and embody.



Specialist Experience

  • Demonstrated strategic leadership capability and ability to shape a clear vision, translate the vision into strategies, actions and results.
  • Extensive and exceptionally strong business leadership experience and skills. 
  • Experience in managing a sizable business with full P&L responsibility.  Experience in Business-to-Business environments or service industry.  
  • Proven track record of leading and building a high performing team and delivering superb results.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong learning agility, flexible, adaptable, situationally responsive and globally savvy.
  • Previous work experience in a large and highly matrixed organization.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • High-level numerical reasoning/analytical skills.
  • Passionate, high energy and drive for results and operational excellence. 



  • Bachelor or equivalent degree in business, marketing or a related field
  • Ten+ years or more related business leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual fluency (Spanish and English)


  • MBA
  • B2B commercial sales leadership experience
