Inbound Chief

Job Description

The supply chain Chief is responsible for managing the human and physical resources of the inbound area, strategy and operational logistic activities in Argentina.

Reporting to the Plant Manager and the Supply Chain Manager, this position plays a fundamental role in ensuring the planning and inputs for the production and conduct of the implementation of the Electrolux logistic applications strategic plan, providing leadership in the aspects of people of the business plans and providing solutions for business management.

Responsible for the planning and control of all the activities of warehouse movement and warehouse storage and logistic processes related to the area, including the scheduling of activities, people's leadership and adequate maintenance and use of resources (equipment, available space and capital added to ensure the supply of productive materials on 4 production lines efficiently in order to achieve determined production volumes and market demand.

Keep stock of materials with a good organization and located so that they are perfectly identified.

Manage improvement projects. Direct and manage supervisors, leaders and employees, trying to achieve the objectives and goals of the area. Management of the logistics chain to reduce inventory costs. Measure, control and optimize processes in the Supply Chain areas. Manage NPI processes in the Supply Chain area. Manage inbound projects.


  • Ensure compliance with the results and objectives of each of the team members by generating a climate that motivates people to do their job in the best possible way.
  • Manage the activities of the supply chain areas through the EMS tools.
  • Plan, program and control all the processes of reception, inspection, segregation, storage, inventory, processing, handling, line feeding, maintenance of logistics equipment, administrative activities, packaging, transport and physical distribution and reverse logistics, plans development, projects and short and medium term goals to guarantee customer service with adequate logistics costs.
  • Participate in S & OP planning processes, as necessary, the master plan, budget and performance indicators, providing related information.
  • Drive a culture of growth, high performance, and positive employee relations supervise the services of his subordinates and others, taken decisions on hiring, promotion and staff reductions. Apply leadership techniques, motivation, communication (feedback), conflict management and the qualification (training) of their subordinates.
  • Promotion of innovations and initiatives aimed at the continuous improvement of processes.
  • Understand business priorities, context, issues and challenges to recommend and implement real business solutions to drive performance and achieve results.



Specialist Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical Logistics, Industrial Engineer or similar degree.
  • A solid track record of working at least 5 years within Supply Chain as professional or manager, proving being capable of managing both strategic and operational Supply chain matters to support the business needs.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint are a must)
  • Desirable MBA
  • Team worker with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactivity and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated Leadership & Strategic Thinking capability
  • Highly creative, excellent communication & strong planning skills
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, written and verbal communication skills
