Sr. Regional Strategy and Operations Manager

Job Description

Twitter’s Partnerships Operations team is responsible for developing strategy and establishing operational rigour for the Global Content Partnerships Team. This includes developing and refining the strategy, policies, procedures, and technologies that enable rapid scale and growth.

 

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, independent thinker, deeply analytical, fierce communicator, resourceful, and adept at building strong cross-functional working relationships, creative, and a team player. He or she will be expected to fully own and lead projects with visibility across the JAPAC partnerships’ organization.

 

Broad Responsibilities:

  • Build and drive the execution of global operations across JAPAC’s Content Partnerships team
  • Partner extensively with the Partnership regional leadership team, as well as cross functional business leaders (including Finance, Legal, HR, and Marketing)
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing program improvements and enhancements
  • Develop, manage, and report on key metrics
  • Drive high-visibility time-critical projects by quickly understanding context and executing against a prioritized approach for resolution
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate results and insights across cross-functional teams
  • Proactively identify and redefine processes and systems that improve and scale our business
  • Provide analysis and decision support around resource allocation and portfolio management
  • Support company-level strategy-setting and planning efforts
  • Gather and analyze massive amounts of information expeditiously
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce-related questions
  • Build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making within senior-level audiences
  • Actively participate in planning/executing JAPAC business plans

 

Specialist Experience

  • 5+ yrs of relevant work experience
    • Preferably in business, economics, digital marketing, media, and/or sales enablement
    • Focus on operations and strategy
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations
    • Build relationships in a matrixed organization
    • Track record of driving stakeholder alignment to drive results
    • Ability to coordinate multiple departments to ensure execution
    • Ability to lead through influence
  • Strong communicator
    • Effectively communicates results and insights
    • Ability to connect with all levels of employees
    • Executive presence
  • Results Oriented
    • Strong focus on execution and results – tracking performance, setting goals and developing plans, following through and holding people accountable for results

Requirements/ Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent (MBA preferred) with specialization in business, economics, digital marketing, and/or sales enablement
  • At least 5+ years in a role that has provided analytical and complex project experience
  • At least 1 year at a top consulting firm, or experience in a similar role that has provided analytical and complex project experience
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations
  • Strong communicator - Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Experience building regional sales strategies
  • Experience researching and manipulating complex and large data sets
  • Competency using Salesforce
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with SQL or any other form of database querying language is preferred
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and ensure the machines “run on time” and are scalable
  • A strong passion for Twitter and technology!
