The Senior Manager, Global Strategic Marketing will drive the Ischemic Franchise in the area of product development and commercial execution. An effective Senior Marketing Manager will use insights about unmet needs, market trends, voice of customer, and a deep understanding of our competitors to develop strong strategic plans. You will lead a cross-functional team to develop cutting edge technology and world class commercial strategies that grow the business globally and deepen customer loyalty for the Cerenovus brand. What You Do:

  • Drive innovation through strategic planning, portfolio, and product development
  • Grow the business by exploring opportunities for acquisition and/or strategic partnership
  • Create marketing strategies that inspire customers and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Partner with business insights to execute market research initiatives
  • Develop business plans in collaboration with regional marketing and commercial partners
  • Engage key customers to ensure deep understanding of unmet needs
  • Collaborate with teams around the world to support global business initiatives
  • Support team expansion with increasing scope and responsibility
  • Work with a passionate and committed team to advance the science of stroke
  • Stay hungry and curious – constantly bringing new insights and ideas to the organization


Specialist Experience


  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 8 years of related business experience is required OR an MBA and/or PhD with 6 years of related business experience is required.
  • Previous experience in Medical Device or healthcare environment is required.
  • Experience developing and launching new products is required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Demonstrated success working in a collaborative environment is required.
  • Worldwide or international experience is preferred.
  • This role will require up to 30% domestic and international travel, including weekends.
  • Insatiable appetite to grow professionally is required.
  • Passion and commitment to live the J&J Credo is required.
