Strategic Partnerships Manager, Acceleration Program, Channel Sales (English)

Job Description

The line of products and services that Google offers to its customers continues to grow. The Partnerships Development team must be constantly on the lookout for new opportunities to develop with Google's partners. With good business acumen and in-depth product knowledge, you interact directly with our partners to help them grow with the latest Google innovations. Using your knowledge of relevant industries and building on your relationships with industry leaders, you help shape our apps and content for products such as YouTube, Android TV, and Google Shopping.

As the Head of Strategic Partnerships, in charge of the acceleration program, your mission is to foster the development of partnerships in the field of advertising technology. You help launch and accelerate these partnerships to enable our partners to take full advantage of Google's ever-expanding advertising product offering and grow their business in this area. You help develop the marketing strategy, define sales and marketing procedures, and promote technology integrations to give new partners the keys to success. You may have to travel to southern Europe.

  • Implement procedures to establish, manage and develop partnerships, and support partners to ensure their long-term success
  • Coach partners and advise on product integration and marketing strategy, and maintain executive level relationships within different organizations
  • Manage the product technical roadmap for partners, providing advice on specific products to be integrated, as well as how to provide reports to end-marketers and provide technical support
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams (marketing, sales engineers and products) to ensure partners' success
  • Forecast and report on growth and other key indicators, track progress against these forecasts, conduct ad hoc projects focused on strategic organizational objectives, and communicate to management the business performance drivers



Specialist Experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a similar discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in managing partnerships, consulting and integrating technical sales systems
  • Experience as a Program Manager or Business Analyst, or as a product lead on technical projects
  • Standard practice of English, both orally and in writing

Desired qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Experience in programming in any language (Java, Python, C, C #, SQL, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Google Ads products
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously involving many internal and external participants; Ability to take a strategic approach to complex issues and develop recommendations, as well as thoughtful action plans
  • Strong analytical and business / financial modeling skills
  •  Common oral and written practice of French, Italian or Spanish
