Business Consultant, Medical Aesthetics - Austria (Job Number: 171309)

Job Description

In this role you will maintain and develop relationships with aesthetic practices and provide them with a value added consulting service that helps them achieving their growth objectives, changing their structure,increasing revenues and/or improving efficiency. An aesthetic practice will work with a BC to become more competitive or to solve a specific organizational problem or concern within the practice itself. You will conduct a ‘needs and practice assessment’, develop recommendations for delivery (based upon the findings of the assessment), plan implementation and evaluation of the results. The BC is also a resource to the industry, providing unbiased educational services and developing market research on practice management issues.
  1. Account identification, Assessment and Analysis               
  • Work with the Medical sales team to identity and target high potential accounts that would benefit from the offering based upon their size, motivation and ability to implement consulting services. All targeted accounts will be approved by the sales management team.
  • Partner with the targeted account to identify, agree and prioritize their needs. Typically accomplished through one on one meetings discussing their goals and identifying the key elements that will enhance their success. 
  1.  Account Action Planning and Implementation                           
  • Develop a strategic plan of action to meet account needs detailing the activities to be accomplished, the time lines and the persons responsible for the activity.
  • Present an action plan to the account to gain agreement. The action plan may have a combination of Product Support Services (PSS) and Business Consulting Services (BCS) and thus some components of the plan may be chargeable. Where BCS services are included, the BC will develop and agree a consultancy contract for the chargeable services.
  • Lead all activities of the action plan in coordination with the account to ensure each step is regularly reviewed and implemented effectively.
  • Provide input and support for any services delivered in coordination with other Allergan Consulting personnel or 3rd party providers.
  • Maintain the relationship with the account post completion of the action plan, understand their status and challenges and re-engage as required to meet their consulting needs.
  1.  Commercial Collaboration                                                            
  • Disseminate information on the status of all targeted accounts with the Medical sales team and Management and coordinate any resulting actions. 
  • With a maintained high level of market knowledge provides support and direction to Allergan Medical Management and educates the sales team on trends and opportunities within the evolving aesthetic market.  
  • Assist the EAME Commercial Team in the evaluation, development, and implementation of Regional tactical initiatives. Coordinate with the in-country commercial teams to ensure the effective execution of all programmes in each market. 

Specialist Experience

  • Degree in Business or Scientific discipline
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration (preferable)
Experience and Knowledge:
  • University degree in business. MBA preferred 
  • Experience in management/strategy consulting
  • Significant sales or marketing experience (preferably Customer Experience and New Media)
  • Strong financial knowledge, budget management, knowledge and understanding of SMEs
  • Management experience including coaching, training and personnel management
  • Proven experience in Project Management; Business Management & Development; Operational Business Analysis & Optimization             
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in in German and English (written and oral), public speaking
