Manager, Distribution Marketing

Job Description

The Manager, Distribution Marketing will manage and oversee the distribution marketing efforts in support of specific Fox and FOX Sports (and its portfolio of networks) properties. He/She will handle the day to day execution and measurement of campaigns for our distribution partners to showcase the value of our networks. The manager position will support the director on larger campaigns, in additional to supporting in all communication and sales materials. This position will also work on renewal campaigns in support of the entire FOX portfolio. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute campaigns for FOX and FOX Sports Networks with our distribution partners. Responsibilities include delivery of assets, copywriting, approval routings, working with clients and outside agencies, etc; track campaign metrics and prepare campaign recaps, including ROI analysis and recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Communicate to the internal sales team and external clients the key programming and sales points of the FOX and FOX Sports Networks via presentations, e-newsletters, etc. in a timely fashion. This also includes asset management with our B2B resources, internal and external partners. 

  • Provide accurate representation of our networks and the value that they bring.

  • Work with the entire distribution marketing team on contract renewal campaigns. Responsibilities include delivery of assets, copywriting, approval routings, working with outside agencies, etc.

  • Coordinate renewal campaigns that are effective in keeping our networks fully distributed.

  • Support director and rest of distribution team on an as-needed basis, pitching in on department and industry initiatives. 

  • Monitor client communications and industry trends to ensure implementation of the most effective strategies and activities working with our traditional MVPD, EST, CD and OTT providers.

  • Ensure FOX networks are accurately represented to the industry and consumers, and that our marketing is perceived as relevant and impactful.  

 

 

Specialist Experience

  • 4-year degree, MBA is plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years marketing experience, distribution/digital marketing experience a plus; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Fluency with analysis and ROI.
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills. 
  • Willing to travel.
  • Flexibility, professionalism and an ability to work under tight timelines. 
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
