Job Description

The strategic consultant in the management center is responsible strategic consulting projects within the Middle East region. It will increase the differentiation from competition and leads to a stronger connection to our customers.

Your Responsibilities

Pre-sales Process consultancy

Identify the need for Organizational sustainability and Healthcare transformation projects together with Sales and other colleagues.
Identify the customer needs in preparation of a consulting project.
Perform Strategic consulting projects

Use the global Organizational sustainability and Healthcare transformation portfolio to support customers in complex questions
Find possibilities for strategic consulting projects together with sales
Speak to c-suite stakeholders to identify the reason for action
As result of the meeting with the c-suite stakeholders identify the right consulting tool the use in this particular project
Facilitate and lead the project: internally and externally with team members/stakeholders
Use market knowledge to ensure the best outcome of the projects
Show tangible results of the projects internally and externally
Quantify the benefits of the projects into a financial benefit
Perform RIE according to global guidelines to improve the processes at a customer, leading to improvement of the relationship with customers

Find possibilities for RIE together with sales
Perform RIE and ensure a good outcome for the customer as agrees upon in the beginning of the project
Facilitate the RIE in an enthusiastic and highly energizing way, making sure the people of the team are all involved and connected to the RIE
Ensure the connection to the management before, during and after the RIE
Where possible translate the benefits into financial benefits for the customer
Reporting

Report back on the outcome of the consulting projects to the external and internal stakeholders
Connect to sales on the progress of consulting projects
Implement new consulting tools

Implement new consulting tools that will be release by global consulting
Analyse the existing consulting tools and help improve them
Identify the need for additional consulting tools and communicate with global consulting to develop these tools
External and Internal Collaboration

Collaborate in consulting teams in a constructive way. Understand the different points of view of different stakeholders and create a solution to the best customer satisfaction possible.
Perform a minimum of one project per year in a country outside the region, in collaboration with other international strategic consultants
Take active part in the RDME Consultancy Network as well as the International Consultancy Network
Represent the company, develop and maintain enduring, value-driven relationships with stakeholders (customers, suppliers, other companies)
Ensure a close working partnership with the customers and provide responsive and quality support as required
Engender a philosophy of teamwork within RDME as a whole and country organizations, and be an integral part of this
Ensure horizontal and vertical information flow, co-operate with other departments and search common solutions in order to increase customer satisfaction and optimize internal procedures
Compliance

You are expected to adhere through your conduct to all applicable laws and regulations as well as to the high integrity standards as set forth by Roche.

 

 

Specialist Experience

You hold a University and post graduate degree preferably in life sciences or economics. An MBA is considered a plus
You have at least 7 years of strategic consultancy (c-suite level) in an IVD company. Ideal candidate worked in a similar role and have completed Roche Strategic consulting, process consulting, and Lean training
You are strong in analyzing data, conceptualize customer’s problems, and “selling” the solution
You have worked with lean methodology and facilitated rapid improvement events
You have strong understanding of Healthcare System structure and functionality
You have a track record in managing change management projects
You have worked with different software applications including Excel
You have strong project management, planning, and organizational capabilities
You are result oriented and are able to meet timelines, with moderate supervision and direction
You have strong communication and presentation skills at on c-suite level
You have strong leadership skills and are experience in leading, motivating and guiding project team(s)
You are flexible and willing to travel within the region
