YOUR ROLE

  • We are offering a Logistics & Production Planning Manager role, who will be responsible for the inbound logistics and material planning operations for our Gebze Adhesive Technologies plant. Additionally, the incumbent is expected to play significant role during our relocation tenure to our new plant in Gebze, Kocaeli, which is being built with the latest technologies aligned with the Industry 4.0 requirements

  • Assuming responsibility for the Logistic, Material Management and Production Planning operations with an approximate team of 25 white and blue-collar employees based in Henkel Factory

  • Having a strong co-operation with various functions in order to ensure production continuity
  • Acting key role between Warehouse, Logistics, Supply Chain and Production Operation in order to maintain efficient workflow
  • Is accountable for the continuous improvement, cost saving, and efficiency increase in responsible project
  • Maintaining compliance for health and safety environment & quality standards and manage 5S with in the related work environment           

 

 

Specialist Experience

 

  • Having a bachelor's degree in an Engineering department, MBA is desirable
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Logistics and Planning operation in a manufacturing environment, preferably minimum 3 years is expected to be gained in managerial roles
  • Previous experience in identifying and executing lean initiatives including 5S

  • Prior experience in leading safety initiatives for a manufacturing plant, previous background in quality system management

  • SAP and production related system know-how is a plus

  • Proven ability to execute Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), set strategy, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Being able to work collaboratively across the plant, organization, and with customers

  • Having experience in assessing performance, coaching, counseling and identifying training needs
