Job Summary: 
This role will be responsible for the MIS FPA activities.


Closing Activities:

  • Perform Sales reconciliation and ensure correct recognition of AMC revenue.
  • Ensure Cost recharges are booked to calculate the correct overhead absorption rates.
  • Perform Margin Analysis and Inject Margins for unsold Inventory and Goods for Offshore portion of Trane.
  • Analyze all SGA expenses are in line with Forecast & explain the variances, if any.
  • Extensive Coordination & interaction with Project Managers, Sales, Finance, Customer care & Shared service team.
  • Reconcile Fixed Assets report, WIP report and Inventory report within Sub Ledger and General ledger.
  • Monitor ratios including DSO, DPO, Inventory turns, and working capitals are in line with planned numbers.
  • Complete Reserve Management

Reporting Activities:

  • Responsible for Hyperion and HFM reporting (including running business rules) of financials for Trane
  • Complete Trane Off shore Reporting including Sales Orders and Margins Trane .
  • Prepare Monthly MIS reporting for:
    • Comparative Product wise and Region wise Order, Sales and Margin.
    • Comparative Segment wise and consolidated P&L.
    • Analyzing Engineers wise Orders and Sales.
    • Comparative SGA expense (Indirect expense) including expenses incurred on enabling functions
    • Segment wise and Project wise WIP as per current month Balance sheet
    • PPTs to be prepared for monthly Business reviews including major wins and losses against orders
  • Prepare Order Sales Margin File, Channel P&L, Close call file, OI bridge, Quads, R&O, and Zone wise Financials
  • Preparing Accounts reconciliation on monthly basis

Forecasting Activities:

  • Orders and Sales forecasting on monthly basis.
  • Cash forecasting for three separate legal entities on weekly basis for the Treasury team.
  • Complete P&L and Balance sheet forecasting on Quarterly basis.
  • Comparative analysis for current forecast Vs Prior Forecast Vs Plan.
  • Variance commentaries on forecasting.

Annual Operating Plans (Budgeting):

  • Extensive coordination with Sales and HR leaders for projected Orders/ Revenue and Head Counts
  • Prepare complete quantity based revenue budgets and incorporate trend seasonality.
  • Incorporate adjustments to align the Margin and Operating Income targets
  • Prepare detailed schedules for OPEX and CAPEX budgeting
  • Loading the draft and finalized budgets into Hyperion Planning

Audit and HR related job responsibilities:

  • Actively engaged in Internal and Statutory Audits for areas including Fixed Assets, Inventories, Sales reconciliation, Work In Progress, Payroll reconciliation, NRV testing, Hyperion and HFM reporting process.
  • Monthly Productivity, Monthly Revenue Tracking and Quarterly SIP sheet for HR.


Specialist Experience

  • Min. Commerce Graduate with 7-8 years’ experience OR CA/ICWA/MBA with 4-5 years’ experience
