Boston Scientific is currently seeking an exceptional Business Development Manager to join our winning team in Endoscopy at Mexico.

 

Business Development Manager

 

 

Position Summary:

The Business Development is committed to developing and/or executing the strategic initiatives of the Business Division through focused engagement of the top key opinion leaders. The position serves as a field-based Marketing representative responsible for market development objectives in a specific country/region customer segment.  Is responsible for focused KOL engagement with the Key Opinion Leaders in his/her area, identification and execution of market development activities/programs, strategic technology commercialization, market expansion efforts, upstream product development support and the creation and/or execution of key projects. This allows the Business Division to have consistent access to these luminaries for product development, market development and expansion activities and programs, research, education/ training programs, and market intelligence.

  • Covering key centers and physicians in the country of responsibility
  • Position geography is Mexico City

  Responsibilities:

  • Field-based Marketing representative in strategic markets primarily responsible for KOLs in that market.
  • Develop Centers of Excellence for training, technology, development, and research.
  • Develop strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
  • New technology commercialization (Upstream and Downstream Activities).
  • Develop and execute customer Market Development programs.
  • Develop and manage education, training, and research projects with key opinion leaders.
  • Explore and validate potential new call-points.
  • Support new business development activities

 

Specialist Experience

  • Completed undergraduate degree; M.B.A. preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in medical device industry with minimally invasive surgery companies
  • Extensive Customer Facing Experience necessary
  • Key Opinion Leader management experience desired
  • Fellowship Program experience (Fellow training and education) desired
  • Documented KOL Development preferred
  • New technology commercialization experience preferred
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Marketing experience preferred
  • Management experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, selling, presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in English.
