Flight Operations Sales Director

Job Description

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Flight Operations Sales Director to join the BGS Business and General Aviation Sales Team, to manage and grow our customers throughout Russia. This is a fast paced environment, encouraging innovative solutions, empowerment, and accountability. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Achieves the overall BGS Long Range Business Plan sales goal for assigned strategic Business and General Aviation accounts 
  • Represents and embraces the Boeing, Jeppesen and Aviall brands and our extensive portfolio including Flight Operations Solutions, Parts, Modifications and Training 
  • Maintains and advances customer relationships on a Senior Leadership Level to proactively address future needs. Identifies future business opportunities and promotes the value of the Boeing portfolio and partnership. Provides networking capabilities to address needs beyond Boeing's resources and offerings. Takes consultative approach to help customers achieve objectives. 
  • Prime interface with Airplane Sales Director (if applicable); works and coordinates all services sales activities related to airplane sales 
  • Brings medium & long term strategy to assigned accounts 
  • Drives sales and campaign activities to successful completion by integrating multiple aspects of the customers' needs. Crafts campaign specific strategies and secures management commitment to ensure successful execution. Creates metrics to monitor campaign project status and budget requirements. 
  • Ability to marshal, manage, coach and mentor indirect resources to effectively lead winning teams 
  • Leads negotiations and finalizes commitments, ensuring mutual benefit to the customer and Boeing by interfacing directly with customer decision-makers and influencers. Leverages detailed understanding of both customer and Boeing needs and resources to find areas of alignment and integration. Obtains commitment within parameters approved by management. 
  • Researches, reviews and analyzes information about competitors' products and services to develop a comprehensive understanding (breadth and depth) of specific competitor activities and their impact on company strategy to improve competitive position. 
  • Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious. 
  • Consistently models outstanding Boeing leadership attributes 
  • Accountable to Regional Director 

Specialist Experience

  • Undergrad technical degree with MBA is desirable 
  • Minimum of 15 years of Aerospace related experience or equivalent. 
  • Minimum of 5 year of Sales experience
  • Fluent Russian and English (written and spoken) required.
  • Existing rights to work in Russia
