Our Enterprise Management software is used by customers across the world, and as we continue our move from a perpetual licensing model to the cloud we’ll be launching even more cloud services to drive new customer acquisition at scale. 

Using your experience within the manufacturing sector, you’ll help dream up amazing products, leveraging innovative technologies that enterprises cannot live without. 

You’ll be looking to the future, and bringing knowledge of how new technologies like Blockchain, AR, AI can help deliver things our customers don’t yet know they need. 

You’ll need an intimate understanding of the manufacturing sector, a passion for solving customers problems and cloud-first mentality.

• Define and articulate product vision and strategy. 
• Define, articulate and manage product requirements. 
• Lead product governance on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. This is a crucial part of the role which ensures that the program of work associated with Sage Business Cloud Enterprise Management is executed to achieve the KPIs set for the product: P&L, NPS, growth by region and by channel, and so forth. 
• Deliver the product – be accountable for the delivery of the product from requirement to usage and in-life management. 
• Align product strategy with other Sage products and ensure adherence to corporate strategy. 
• Act as high availability product manager, with total knowledge of the what and the why. 
• Communicate product requirements and rationale with all stakeholders, in particular R&D/Technology, product marketing, marketing, country leaders, channel managers, finance, FP&A, country commercial leads, executives. 
• Be the voice and the mission of the product inside and outside Sage, outside to include analysts, customers and partners/accountants, and conference/industry event communications where detailed product knowledge is required (vs marketing content, which is owned by product marketing/marketing); provide very close liaison with in-country product management (Product Evangelists). 
• Create, maintain and communicate product roadmaps monthly; perform and document change management in lock step with process. 
• Adopt rigor in all activity including use of tools, processes and methodologies such as JIRA, Agile & Aha!. 
• Balance competitive advantage, customer need and pure innovation. 
• Exemplify great team work and collaboration. 
• Work hand in hand with the global product marketing and product delivery teams to excite our internal and external stakeholders. 
• Manage multiple cross-functional projects Skills, know-how and experience: Must have: (5 or 6 Max) 

Specialist Experience

Outstanding knowledge of the Enterprise solutions space with an understanding of cloud and SaaS solutions. 
• Strong knowledge of the manufacturing sector (discreet or process manufacturing), the business management needs and challenges faced by customers and competitors in the space. 
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation or sales experience are a plus. 
• Outstanding people leadership skills – able to instil trust, belief, confidence and drive into a worldwide team 
• Proven creative thinker that independently generates and executes on innovative marketing ideas. 
• Strong communication and writing skills in English and ability to work across business lines, presenting to executive leadership and at different levels of management. Proven speaker comfortable in large audiences 
• Experience launching new technology products to disrupt markets through innovative ideas balanced with market research. 
• Thrives when working in a matrix environment, where colleagues need to be supported, driven, influenced to deliver even bigger results 
• Design acumen, iterative designing and prototyping 
• Managing a Product Roadmap, balancing must-have requirements with timelines 
• Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence. 
• Experience of Agile development and product management methodologies 
• Super-star skills managing multiple projects with very tight deadlines. 
Technical / professional qualifications: 
• Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent (MBA a plus) and 5-7+ years of product management experience. 
• Manufacturing or Accounting Qualification(s) is preferred. 
• Project Management Qualifications are a plus.
