People Manager for Amazon Business team (B2B)

Job Description

Amazon has launched a new Business-to-Business (B2B) service - Amazon Business, which is dedicated to serving the needs of business customers. We are focused on building the largest and most innovative B2B marketplace in the world and we are recruiting a handful of the best and brightest to make this vision a reality.

B2B represents an opportunity to address a vast new market segment and customer base. Our business customers have different needs than the traditional Amazon customer and thus we are working with 3P Sellers to reinvent our selection, pricing, ordering and delivery processes to provide the right experience for businesses.

We are looking for an experienced people manager to join our B2B Amazon Business team in Bratislava. You will be responsible for managing Account Managers to accelerate sales growth and expand selection for business customers by promoting B2B feature adoption among our 3P Sellers.

Roles and Responsibilities
· Develop and motivate a high-performing team of Account Managers
· Delivering growth through expanding the number of B2B Sellers and growing adoption of B2B features
· Drive business analysis, develop recommendations and implement projects and initiatives to drive growth
· Dive deep on data and provide insights and reporting to senior stakeholders
· Provide insights and advice on how Sellers can improve their Amazon Business marketplace sales
· Support the introduction of new Amazon Business products and services for Sellers, identifying improvements, providing Seller feedback and working closely with the relevant international Amazon product teams
· Deliver ongoing operational improvements at a European level
· Interact with and influence senior Amazon leaders across Europe

More about Amazon Business:

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 3,590 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Inc. in USA.

Specialist Experience


· 5 years of working experience in an area similar to consulting, product management or sales management
· Track record in people management skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, plus ideally one of German/French/Italian/Spanish
· Minimum of Bachelor’s degree ideally in a business-related field. Post-graduate education is preferred
· Experience building relationships and driving growth with existing customers/partners/B2B


· Strong analytical skills (particularly Excel and database analysis)
· Passionate about online businesses, e-commerce and sales
· Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
· Experience working with Tax, Legal, Product, and internal business owners
· Experience using or another CRM tool
· Knowledge of SQL
