Associate Product Manager / Product Manager - Oncology

Your Responsibilities:

As our new Associate PM / PM, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of operational plans that optimise sales, market share and revenue growth. Additional responsibilities include effective development and management of annual promotional budget strengthening Novartis reputation in Oncology and drive implementation of overall strategy in oncology.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Lead marketing initiatives for activities supporting the brand. 
• Manages promotional budget, optimising channel mix to deliver strategy effectively and efficiently. 
• Co-ordinates in collaboration with Portfolio Lead, and cross-functional team to deliver StratPlan. 
• Prioritises appropriate targeting, positioning and messaging across all customer segments. 
• Optimises channel/promotional mix, including digital, for the brands through appropriate resource allocation that meets brand objectives and customer needs.
• Leads development and delivery of key promotional campaign materials from insights to review, production and implementation.
• Close liaison with the field force to assess the response to and suitability of current promotional material and to ensure that promotional material is being used optimally. 
• Drives consistent execution of brand strategy in collaboration with Portfolio Lead across functions including Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Medical using appropriate KPIs.
• Coordinates and supports reporting and information sharing (in collaboration with Portfolio Lead) with local, region and global cross-functional teams. 
• Acts as champion for brand to create focus and enthusiasm both internally and with external customers and agencies.



Specialist Experience

What you’ll bring to the role: 

We are looking for a junior Product Manager ideally with a first experience in pharmaceutical operational marketing including customer facing / sales. You are a self-starter and a quick-thinker who can work autonomously.

You will also bring to this role:
• Previous product launch experience would be desirable
• Demonstrated ability to think broadly and innovate within the pharmaceutical business, especially around product and customer marketing strategies
• Ability to make sound business decisions with a strong customer focus and deliver agreed outcomes in a timely manner
• Proven ability to work effectively across a matrixed and widely-dispersed organization 
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
