Senior Manager, Delivery and Invoicing

Job Description

  • Strategically responsible for performance and development of the Invoice & Delivery function within GTA/ Sales Order Planning & Delivery team.

  • Interface with other divisions within Volvo Group when Invoicing & Delivering vehicles and Processes.

  • GTA/ Sales Order Planning & Delivery are a central function between the sales organisations and Operations, ensuring the optimal balance between commercial demand for flexibility and delivery efficiency.

  • GTA/ Sales Order Planning & Delivery supports the sales organisation with supply issues and is driving performance and commonality Invoice & Delivery processes.

  • Operationally support in setting up and running Invoice and delivery flows for new project being working with JV’s from time to time for.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Drive quality and precision in the process between production process end and vehicle delivery to final customer
  • Ensure delivery plans are met and take actions and support business with prioritization when deviations occur
  • Develop and follow up activities to shorten the lead-time and capital tied up in the Delivery process
  • Select and follow up outbound transport providers in close cooperation with Group Truck Operations
  • Follow up and improve the invoicing process
  • Drive performance in the GTA/ Sales Order Planning & Delivery process through networking and follow-up of relevant KPI’s
  • Participate actively in the GTS/ Sales Order Planning & Delivery Order Planning management team
  • Invoice & Delivery Support as well.
  • Support on strategic projects related to the OtD process, lead-time improvements, and cost reduction

 

Specialist Experience

 

 
  • 5+ years of experience in functional management of the vehicle Invoice & Delivery process and outbound transport solutions

 

  • A service mind set and strong process orientation including the ability to identify, design and develop best practices

 

  • Strong analytical skills in the review of historic delivery trends

 

  • Propose, design and develop large and complex data sets in delivery planning
  • An effective business leader who understands the complete chain of her/his business and is familiar with modern managing principles and techniques within a global organisation.  This includes good understanding of the commercial vehicle industry and business analyses.
  • Demonstrating a high and solid level in each of the Volvo Group Leadership competencies, and be an inspiring and inclusive leader as well as an active team worker.
  • BSc or MBA is required for this position

 

  • International experience and multi culturally competent

 

  • Fluent English; Other Language skills an advantage
