Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. Our mission at Create with Google is to drive excellence in video strategy for Google partners. We partner with brands, their media agency, and creative agency to solve a key brand challenges in a hands-on workshop environment.

As the Head of Create with Google, you'll drive goals with a focus on brands and agencies. You will lead the Tokyo-based Create with Google team and drive all strategy development, creating an end-to-end process that capitalizes on highly qualified regional opportunities.

Our dedicated teams of marketing and advertising specialists use their unique skill sets to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We aspire to advise our clients on all aspects of their online business strategy. Using Google's broad range of products, we help our clients connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.


  • Manage all the programs with the support of the Creative Activation and Creative Consulting teams.
  • Manage the end-to-end creative process and the related services including insight exploration, workshops, creative ideation, production, and reporting.
  • Ensure the activation of all the programs by developing a follow-up processes that encourage agencies to implement suggestions.
  • Maintain the cadence of entire projects and track their progress. Manage the partnership with key creative agency leaders to ensure healthy partnerships and business impact.
  • Advocate the Create with Google impact with APAC leadership and global colleagues by building relationships, communicating results regularly, and publishing scorecard reports.


Specialist Experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience planning and executing digital-first campaigns with global brands and agencies.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Japanese fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, Master's degree, or PhD.
  • 10 years of experience working in an agency or consumer marketing company.
  • Track record of working in complex cross-functional environments across countries and cultures with excellent leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of how the creative process is managed, how creative agencies work with advertisers, and how critical marketing decision is made.
  • Ability to lead strategic conversations across all levels of the organization, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for motivating and guiding teams through often ambiguous environments.
