Are you looking for the next challenging step in your international career? Then the position as Senior Business Development Manager, Chronic Care might be right for you. This is a unique opportunity to get close to the front-line business and play a key role in realizing the growth ambition for Coloplast biggest sales region. You will work internationally and be part of the Region Europe Business Development team composed of a Director and an Associate Manager.


About the department
When joining Business Development Region Europe you will enter a truly global team that offers great challenges, opportunities and close collaboration with our 14 markets, Senior Vice President and our Global Marketing & COMEX team. Reporting to the Business Development Director Region Europe, you will ideally be located in Coloplast’s Headquarter in Humlebæk but could potentially be located in one our top five markets (U.K. France, Germany, Italy or The Netherlands).


The job

As a top priority, you will support a new ambitious growth strategy within one of our business areas where we have recently made a big investment. You will work closely with local business leaders and leadership teams to develop professional implementation plans, track performance and make solid reporting. You will act on the ground and hands-on helping the country managers and their teams be equally successful in the five EU markets.


Besides working on the implementation of the Business Case you will play a key role in identifying potential new business opportunities and ensure commercial execution versus strategy. You will contribute to the yearly planning and target setting process in the region. You will participate to monthly and quarterly business reviews. You can be asked to support the local organizations with analysis or processes improvement on an ad hoc basis. You will travel in Europe 40 to 60 days per year.


Specialist Experience


  • MBA or Master degree in Management, Economics, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years in business development / project management in an international environment. Preference for experience in Health Industry
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a commercial mindset. Understanding how the business operates and the ability to see the broader business impact.
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships and interact with all levels across the organization
  • Ability to communicate insight in a structured and user friendly form
  • A team player, with experience in working closely together with the commercial organization

You have a strong personal drive and collaborates with impact towards senior stakeholders. You are result oriented, pragmatic and like to work with autonomy. You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence top management as well as commercial managers and front-line staff in an international setting. Finally, we are looking for a team player with good social skills that likes to have fun on the way!
