Educational & Preferred Background

  • 8/12 years of relevant industry experience, senior management experience within a IT organization preferred.
  • Education or equivalent experience 4 year Engineering, Computer Science, or Business degree, Masters such as MBA preferred
  • Spanish and English are mandatory
  • Executive level communication, consultative and presentation skills are essential.
  • A proven track record in business analysis and translating customer needs into a high level statement of requirements for internal product/service package alignment.
  • An entrepreneurial approach to business and the ability to establish a holistic business view is essential
  • Proven track record in contributing to the establishment of new organizations, procedures, and offerings
  • Team-building, organization and time management skills are required
  • Should be accustomed to working effectively within all levels of an organization and in remote enviroments
  • Process development, consulting or technical services experience required
  • Skilled in leadership and influence of virtual, cross-functional teams, with , program and project management experience preferred
  • Diversified customer relationship development and interface management
  • Skilled at escalation and issue management and managing customer expectations
  • Industry certifications a plus (e.g. ITIL, PMP, COBIT, Six Sigma)

The Project/Program Manager is an integral member of the Business Operations Team within the Caribbean and Latin America Region (CLA) whose main objectives are to drive service excellence, assuring a superior customer experience while focusing on maximizing operational efficiency. This is to be accomplished through smart analysis of data to understand the gaps between where we are and where we want to be.  To then involve and inspire people, execute projects, action plans, and promoting disruptive innovation that enables the necessary transformation to position ourselves at the next level.


Your main responsibilities will be

Service Adoption, Expansion, and Termination

  • Plays an integral role for the adoption of new services including being a liaison with de areas of Talent, IT, Service Delivery, Sales, and other areas involved on the adoption of a new client.  
  • Drive the successful introduction of the new solutions based on the customer expected outcomes.
  • Coordinate all necessary aspects of new business, up-sells and cross-sells to assure the ADOPTION and EXPANSION of services strategy is executed.
  •  oordinate all necessary aspects for termination of service contracts and run off.


General Project and Program Management

  • Responsible for coordinating program communications, including compiling project information for reviews and promoting Governance compliance with the project management team.
  • Program Manager is responsible for the mentoring of project team members.
  • Participate in business case justification specializing in information technology and software development.
  • Applies analysis and independent judgment to both routine and non-routine information.
  • Able to respond to the majority of situations with limited guidance and formulate alternative courses of action on more complex information with additional guidance from more senior employees.
  • Has subject matter expertise in the tools and processes used to address business issues and reporting needs.
  • Manage key decision points in program plan; Communicate effectively at the Global, Regional, and Area levels including GM and Cx layers.
  • Manage program to ensure deliverables are produced, and partner to obtain sign-offs; Work with partners to clarify roles and responsibilities so program is well executed.
  • Negotiate within and across IT organizations for resources to support program objectives; Support negotiations with vendors and internal clients on cost, schedule, and scope; Re-negotiate contracts with sponsors to meet change requirements while maintaining benefits.
  • Manages lifecycle of multiple key information solutions.
  • Decompose program into time-phased projects and prioritize key program deliverables; Assumes full accountability for overall success of a project through deployment.
  • Define program goals and objectives; Identify customer requirements; Identify resource requirements; Develop program/project budgets; Ensure headcount and capital dollar resources are identified for all program phases; Track incurred and projected expenses against program plan and report to management.
  • Develop and be accountable for the overall program plan by integrating sub-project plans; Ensure resources are committed and engaged for all project phases
  • Identify key program metrics/milestones and assess risks.
  • Prioritize resource allocation; Assist with resource negotiation; Manage cost/schedule/resource variances.
