Strategic Account Manager m/f

Job Description

- Establish long-standing customer relationships while leveraging ABB management support in pursuit of excellence
- Develop solid understanding of customers' business drivers and their strategic approach
- Draw on market intelligence to influence ABB strategy as well as business and product development
- Build and maintain internal network, understand ABB culture, and develop business relationships across four ABB divisions
- Lead global account team within matrix organization and ensure first-class support for customers at global, regional, country, and local level
- Establish solid account plan as a basis for sustained growth
- Drive sales processes in close cooperation with global and local business units, in addition to ensuring that customer expectations are met in all areas
- Pursue "One ABB" strategy in support of market-driven approach


Specialist Experience

- Solid academic background with MBA and/or Engineering degree (or equivalent)
- Proven track record in Marketing and Sales at a global level
- In-depth understanding of F&B industry, underpinned by experience in the fields of electrification and automation
- Knowledge of ABB strategies, portfolios, and markets desirable
- Ability to build strong and enduring customer relationships
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills
- Experience in empowering multicultural teams
- Very good command of German and English, preferably complemented by additional language skills
- Willingness to travel extensively
