Channel Programs and Development Manager Italy

Job Description

This role has been created to lead and manage a team responsible for driving the development and deployment of the Italian Channel Sales strategy and ensuring, in close collaboration with the sales leadership, prioritization of our channel investments across all the Route to Markets

 
 

Key responsibilities: In collaboration with Italy country teams and the EMEIA CP&D teams, the CP&D Manager is responsible for the definition, development and execution of the programs and events in Italy for all our products and across all routes to markets. The role will lead a team in charge of supporting the routes to market in building strong development plans and achieving sales targets. Working collaboratively with the Italy country teams and the EMEIA CP&D teams to define, develop and execute our Consumer program strategies through our Channel and Partner network in an effective and scalable way, and recommend new & disruptive ideas to develop products sales and services consumption Driving the “one Apple” approach building relationships across the key parts of Apple for successful collaboration. Ensuring the global promotional activity is efficient through sales analysis and programs performance reviews. Key Accountabilities: Define and execute channel sales strategy Make sure new business opportunities for our products are maximized across different channels Ensure overall quality and efficiency of programs and events Manage programs and events budgets Ensure good understanding and reviewing of market research in order to proactively suggest new opportunities and initiatives in Italy Interact with local business teams and central CP&D teams Key Relationships: Italy Country Director Italy Commercial, Retail, Telecom and SP&O heads and Key account executives EMEIA central functions (business planning, business development...) EMEIA Marcom team Sales support and Executive Briefing Centre team Local and central finance teams

Specialist Experience

Education

Likely to have an MBA from a leading business school and/or a primary business degree from a top-tier university

Additional Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned channel expert with high quality merchandised Point-of-sales programs expertise. This person will have a proven track record of growing a substantial channel Business Development in Italy in both consumer and B2B and with Carrier and/or Retail experience. The ideal candidate will also have a strong customer focus. He or she will have a strong understanding of, and empathy with, the Apple brand and its products. This individual will be a consumer channel strategist who has in-depth knowledge of the business model of the partners operating in this field. The candidate must have native level fluency in the Italian language.
